"Fort Carson," Amethyst murmured, looking down at the ground. Sadness found it's way into her crystal blue eyes and she shook her head, trying to conceal it. "I graduated from the Air Force Academy two years ago. This is my second trip back to the Sands," she murmured.

"Fifth." Nick said. "And so far the strangest."

"Third." Seth said. "And on my first day in this group i'm stuck in a bed." he joked.

[Actually.A.Herondale]

Nick laughed. "Just wait...you'll be stuck in bed more then just once with this group."

((Stumped. Two things; how to rp and my homework||AAARGH homework I have to write a story about a girl that gets stabbed by an escape psychopath/mental in the cemetery Dx and let's just say Koda never moved from the medic tent))

Koda laughed a bit. "Third. First time I went here the leader got blew up and so has the rest of the team. That was when I just joined for a few months." he said. "Got a pretty good image that all leaders were stupid enough to blow up their squadron."

Seth laughed again. "Yeah i bet! You guys are so diffrent then all the other people I have met."

"My first year, we uncovered a huge hideout of the terrorists underground, and the battle that followed that left just me and the captain alive. By the time someone found us, he had gone mentally insane." Nick said. He seemed distant as he remembered.

((FUFU had to walk home in the rain||God there was this man by his car and a mob of high schoolers. Guess what he said? "Okay, give me your handbag." I was like "Man is he one of those people who ask for your things then kill you!"))

"I've heard it before, though I thought it was just a rumor," Koda said, rubbing his dogtags. "I guess not."

"I wish it was a rumor." Nick said. "I can't remember exactly how or why we were underground...I think we went into a basement somewhere in Fallujah, and found a door way and followed the trail and boom. It was like a swarm of roaches. They were everywhere. A few left as soon as they saw us, while others started yelling to each other, most likely to attack. There was only 50 of us, and lots more of them. The smell down there was like rotting meat on a humid day, and all the bodies being so close made it hard to move around. It was by far the scariest day of my life."

((ikr. I'm never gonna go home alone again.))

"Creepy." Koda muttered. "I never liked roaches. Fed some once in a while to my Corn Snake though." He shuddered at the thought of a roach between his fingers, still alive.
