Amethyst nodded, staring at the Captain. "I just came back. Guess I wasn't ready for civilian life yet," she murmured.

The medic sighed. "Need anything? Aspirin, water, coffee...?"

"Water would be nice," she replied. "Do you need any help yourself?" She asked, looking around at the hospital full of soldiers.

Koda woke up with a start; dozing off was not on his mind. He stood up and looked over at Nick. "Hope yer getting better, sir," he said.

((Man. What are you guys learing in English. "Complex sentences, Metaphors, Similies, Senses, and a sentence-in-a-sentence. Plus there's some huge tests in 4 weeks', SATs. Urgh. So if I don come on much, I'll be bl**dy studying.))

"No. Now stay there." The medic said, leaving to get her some water.

Seth sighed. "Yeah." he mumbled looking down at his legs. D*** it move! he thought but nothing happened.

((His legs are paralized...from spine damage...if thats possible...))

"You okay?" Nick asked.

Seth clenched the sheets on top of him. "I guess. he mumbled. He then turned towards the Captain. "I don't-" he paused before contuning on, "I don't think I'll be very useful anymore sir."

"You've served your country. There's nothing more useful then putting your life on the line for people who don't even know your name." Nick said. "You earned the Purple Heart, and weather you're going home or not, no one can say you're useless."

Seth grinned and looked down. "Thank you sir. Though if you say I earned a Purple Heart honestly you deserve something much better. You have been serving for longer than any of us so that means you have been putting your life at risk longer." Seth's eyes wandered up towards Nick again. "Home or not I'm glad to have served my time with you."

"It was an honor to work with you." Nick said.
