Nick sighed. "So what made you join the army?"

"I'm fine." was all Ivy said. "I'm just worried about Nick, seeing that he's still sick."

"Glad you are ok...and yeah." he said dropping his voice at the second part. He then turned at Nicks question. "Oh, well see my Dad was in the military when I was young and I wanted to follow in his foot steps." he said. "What about you?"

Nick smiled a little. "I was that collage drop-out who thought the army would be easy. Go to the dessert, shot some guys, get paid..." He chuckled a little and shook his head. "Learned the hard way how wrong I was."

Ivt sat down near them, not bothering to sit in a chair. "Karma got back at 'cha!"
