Personality:
Annie....how do you describe someone in just two paragraphs or a couple sentences? She's not just a figment of my imaginationg that I'm acting out as in this role play...she's part of me. Who I am. She's the best and worst of me, and that's a lot to write down. I live with her everyday...here she is.
Not bubbly to the point of ditziness, but certainly an enthusiastic camper, Anne's the one making plans. Every breathe this girls takes, it's full of life. She clings to it; she loves it. Every day she wakes up with something new she wants to do. Uniform? Please. This girl would go crazy with anyone telling her what to do. A free-spirit is probably the most accurate way to describe her, flating around in the wind, following the rainbows to see if there's anything at the end worth it. And even if there isn't, she wouldn't be disapointed. This love of life she has, this lust for it, is ironic, in a way. She's quite the pessimist, but she views it in a careless way. Example- If it started raining, she'd laugh, and complain her books were going to get soaked. I know it's confusing, but not everything about a person makes sense. If that were true, we'd all be boring monotoned clones.
On the surface, when you first meet Anne, this happy, ravinous personality is all you see, normal for a first meeting, like everyone else on the planet, she seems slightly vapid, but sweet. She glows with life on the surface, so only once you really get to know her, and understand her, do the real feelings start making appearences through this cover she wears. It's a comfortable mask, and when she put it on, she never took it off, until it became so much like her own face, she forgot it was even there. But seriously, no one's life is perfect. Anne is no exeption. The trouble she's gone through has turned part of her hard and cold. Strong. She's not the girl who gets pushed around and wasted. Stubborn as a mule and contrary, once she makes her mind up, there's no turning it. As well as she'd go her own way happily if you suggested the other. She's just an easy-going person with her own mind and soul and heart that she doesn't want other people peering at, judjing, and changing. Is that so wrong? Annie's worst quality, is probably her pride. She won't stoop to get what she wants, she holds her head up. Even whens he found her boyfriend cheating on her, she laughed in his face. She smiled, shook her head, told him he was an idiot, but she hoped it was worth it, and walked out. Head high. Swagger in her stride. Confidence in her smile. But when she got home? She cried for an hour. Pain is something she tends to endure in silence, she doesn't know why. It's not because she doesn't think she's worth everyone else's simpathy or help, just because her pride won't let her stoop that low, that people have to look down on her, half to help her. Anne believes she could do anything she wanted, and she could do it on her own. Unwilling, most often, to accept help, it gets her into trouble, but she never sees it until too late. A kind spirit, with flaws and idiosyncrasies, like everyone, Anne's just another girl in a world that takes a while to understand and adapt to.
History:
Basically, she's lived here her entire life, on this ranch, on this property. It's been passed down from her grandmother to her mother to her--a quirk she always liked about it, because most ranches were passed down father to son. Anne always led a normal country life; she had three brothers, and she was the youngest--they'd help her on the farm, they all learned the tricks of the trade, and they were happy. She loved her family, her mom, her dad, her brothers. When they grew older, though, they started itching, her brothers. It always felt to Anne like this wasn't enough for them, they wanted to go out and make something of themselves, like this wasn't high enough for their standards. That killed Anne, that they thought this life was below them; how could they think that? Her entire life, Annie's been in awe of the nature around her, of the way the world works, of the pleasant, peaceful, sanctuary created for them on this farm, in this life. The oldest brother, Bobby, went out to a university; he was the smartest. Annie was pretty sure he got himself a degree in banking, or math...or something. She doesn't really know, he doesn't call them much. The second brother went out to travel, he said, and he always told them he'd come back. Now, Annie's pretty sure he's somewhere in China, though Lord knows how he got the funds to send him there, with his Chinese fiancee, all holed up in an apartment on some crowded street, learning Chinese and forgetting all about them. The youngest brother, only three years older than Annie, Jim, went to college, too, but he's still there. He calls often, and he's Annie's favorite. They were always best friends as kids, and he wants to become a doctor, now. He tells her over the phone all the time that once he gets his degree, he'll come back, and he can have the guest room in her ranch, and make house calls. He always told her that the only doctor they had there was a terrible old crone--but Annie only half believed him...on the coming back part. No one else came back. Her father and mother passed away a couple years ago, together, as the were driving along, over a bridge, and the old truck just plain spasmed. Those Toyata's were rumored to be trouble, they had been having issues with their brakes on their models, but her parents had had the same truck for over twenty years, so no one expected it when they couldn't stop, and the vehicle flung them deeper and deeper down, over the bridge and under the water, where they only came out in time to be lifted to their caskets. So Annie lives along now, with her dog and her horse, maintaining the way of life she loves.
Family:
Her three brothers; Bobby, Markus, and Jim, and her parents, Louis and Bill.
Quirks:
When she's nervous or angry, Annie has a tendency to curl her toes. Also, she has a terrible habit of picking her cuts. She gets cut open enough, doing all the work on the farm, and when her scabs itch--well, lets just say she doesn't have the best will power.
