J.J. went up to her room after cleaning up. It had been her turn to do the dishes. She sat down on the floor with Rex's favorite toy, playing with him. She laughed when he snatched the squeaky ball away from her, jumping onto her bed, startling Charm who hissed at him before crawling under J.J.'s bed. Stripe followed his mother, snuggling up to her underneath the bed. Barking from the backyard told her that Conner was outside with Chase and Leah, the huskies we re rather energetic. She smiled, looking over at Rex.

Drake reached for her hand, "Can we still have dinner?"

She nodded and kissed him gently and she laid a hand on her stomach as she felt something so thing just move and she smiled and grabbed Drakes hand
