[Kingston]

Salis is the only village on Saltstone Island.
Our island is large, but often not acknowledged.
We're in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, but we belong to Newfoundland, Canada.
Most people don't know our beautiful island exists.

It's a right of passage to adulthood in Salis that on your 15th birthday, you must go on a journey.
To befriend one of the island's most sacred treasures, a wild horse.
The island is over-run by wild horses, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one that likes me, right?
Think again.

You must go alone, and you must return with a horse.
Your journey may be days, months or even years.
You must venture from your home by the coast line
into the forest and plains of Saltstone Island.
You will meet many wild horses on your journey.
But you must pick only one.
This horse will become your Anima.
You will face with life with your Anima by your side.

Every adult in Salis has an Anima.
It's time to find yours.
The journey starts here.

Rules:
Always follow Tess' rules.
No character limit, as long as you can handle them all.
Try to keep horse and human characters equal.
Keep your character forms updated. Some people actually go back to read them.
Star out swear words (ex. sh*t).
The words "crap", "damn" and "hell" do not have to be starred out.
Fade to black if it gets more than PG13.
Your characters can't date each other.
No anime please.
Your Anima can be played by someone other than you.
Your horse can think to itself, but it can not talk outloud, or to humans or other horses.

For those of you who don't live in Canada, Saltstone Island is not actually in Newfoundland (Saltstone Island is fake), and Newfoundland is not pronounced "New-Found-Land". Where I live live we say "New-fin-land" but how you pronounce it changes depending on the accent of the province you're in.

She died at the young age of seven when she was swept to sea while swimming with her older brother. A few weeks after her death, her older brother set out on his own journey. While he was looking for a horse, he witnessed the birth of a wild horse. The foal has brown fur and a black mane and tail. The horse reminded him of his deseased sister, and named the foal Nadevni in his sister's honor.

Bold and stubborn, Orion will be a hard horse to break/train. He is often seen by the people of the island, but always seems to outsmart anyone who tries to befriend him or come near him.

ρєяѕonalιту :: Calm and sweet, Syrinx is nothing like her brother, Orion. Named after the Greek nymph of Inspiration and Melody, she is a gentle soul. Often shy around humans. Unlike her brother she seems to think before acting and doesn’t challenge the people of the island. Once believed to be a ghost, she is treated as a mystical creature.
нιѕтoяу :: Sister to the powerful Orion, Syrinx is his total opposite. While he is considered a menace to the people of the island, Syrinx is considered a mystery. Little is known about her, but that she is related to Orion. She becomes Sandor's horse and friend, but not until they both find one another.
