Erik laughed a soulless laugh and Fiera cringed. Erik grinned slyly, a crazed look in his icy blue eyes, "You're my nephew." Hayli nearly slapped herself in the face. She mentally cursed Erik for telling Andrio. Andrio had enough to worry about without knowing that his uncle was some creepy guy who was also the father to his...adopted sister.

[nagisa.]

He growled, "Me? Related to... You?" The sheer anger in his voice made birds take to the air. His eyes blazed with unknown rage. "My... Uncle?" he grit his teeth, his grip on Fiera's shoulder tightening.

[Simon-Says]

"It's true," sneered Erik. "Whether you like it," he glared, "or not." Fiera snarled, "You aren't related to either of us! JUST LEAVE US ALONE!" But Erik wasn't going. They all knew that.

[nagisa.]

"Fiera... Shhhh..." Andrio held her close, kissing her temple. He looked up to Erik, "Then tell me... Where were you when Pansy died? Or Dad? Or Carter?" he hissed, tears stinging his eyes slightly. "Or how about Mother? You promised her..." he trailed off, but stepped a bit closer. Horrid man or not, he was his uncle. Last remainder of his blood line next to him. He couldn't kill him, or even harm him. It was pointless to try and say he would.

[Simon-Says]

Erik's voice was stiff, "You are blind boy. I was there. Don't you remember that shape in the shadow? I watched over you, like I promised. Whether or not you saw me. Same with you, Fiera. I was always there..." Fiera glared, "I don't care if you were there. I don't want you in my life!"

[nagisa.]

Ouch...

"Fiera, be rash." Andrio whispered. He held her close, "So, when Anemos shot me? You were there? When Sandi stabbed herself? You where there? When Raven died? You where there?" he lost his composer at the mention of Raven. She had been his big sister. Everybody loved her. Everybody knew her. Hot tears leaked from his eyes, "You where there!?" he repeated.

[Simon-Says]

Erik nodded. "Of course I was. You just weren't looking for me." His voice was cool. He didn't seem offended by Fiera's out burst. But he just chose not to show it. Inside he was dying. His own daughter...didn't want him in her life.

"Then why, in GODS NAME, WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP!?" he spat. He gently moved FIera to the side, and put his face in Erik's. "Huh!? BECAUSE YOU BLOODY WELL COULD HAVE!" His eyes met his, and seemingly burned into them. Uncle! Pfft. How could such a.. A... There were no words to describe this man.

"I don't have a good relationship with your family, Andrio, nor a good one with Fiera's. I wanted to help, I swear I did, I just couldn't for promises I made long before Fiera was born forbid me for coming near you both." Erik sighed and looked away.

He could be as upset as he wanted. Andrio didn't care. "Do you think I care, at this point? Or am even surprised?" he said, utter disgust in his voice. He knew he'd just saved his life, but for what? Really, what was his angle? He swore under his breath, and dispersed into an alleyway.
