It was like he swam through sludge, thick like syrup. His heart beat in his ears slowly. Time froze in place, and moved so slow, he thought he could see the wind blowing through his hair. He saw his blood drip away like maple syrup. He slowly blinked his eyes.

Things replayed.


The collapse... His family...Hayli... Everything.

[Simon-Says]

( bringing Hayli back - as a ghost that only Fiera and Andrio can see... hehe )

Hayli laid a ghastly hand on Andrio's shoulder. "<i>Come on Andrio, you can do this, you're strong. Fight it.</i>" Her eyes were ghostly white and she looked at Fiera, who was open-mouthed, she put a hand to her lips. And smiled softly.

Hayli...

He raised his heavy eye lids, and mouthed her name. His lips were crusted with dried blood, but that didn't stop him. He smiled lightly, "Cara mia... It hurts..." he whispered, voice horse and craggy. He could barley keep them open. In an eerie sort of way, it was like a tired child.


A child...


No.

He wasn't.

He coughed, "Eirk... I think... There may be a way." he managed, his voice barely audible.

[Simon-Says]

Erik stared at him, "Then speak, boy, tell us, quickly." His voice was urgent and Fiera was still staring at Hayli's ghost or spirit, whatever one would call her, with a look of almost surprise and joy in her silver eyes. Hayli smiled and brushed her cool ghostly hand against Andrio's face. "Mea amare, you are the only one in my life and I will never leave you, no matter where you go."

[nagisa.]

He paused, thinking for a moment. "Co....considering how much blood i've lost, and.. Wher..." He paused for a moment, his eyes fluttering. "where they've bitten me, we'd have to eliminate the last bit if remaining toxins. So... Well... Th... Ug.." He stopped, and could swear his eyes crossed. The world spun, making him blink. "B... But.... How.. We.. Hiw do we do it?"

[Simon-Says]

Erik said softly, "So that means we have to separate the toxins from the blood stream, somehow?" Hayli looked at Andrio, a sad look on her transparent face. "Mea amare...don't let go. Don't go into a sickness that I can not find you in..." A small tear drop, just a small drip of dew, fell from her face and vanished before it could hit the ground. She brushed her cool hand across his face once more. "Ego amare te...I love you, and always will."

Shakily, he nodded. Andrio felt himself changing. He felt his thoughts seep away, like they were swept off in a river.


The fat man returned. Anemos, though he hated himself for doing it, walked up to them. "Follow me, if you don't want him to die." he said simply.

[Simon-Says]

Fiera glared, "How can we trust you!? You tried to kill us!?" Erik stood and stepped in front of Fiera and Andrio, "Swear on your life that you'll help us, and not to lay a finger on a hair of their heads." His eyes glared at Anemos and Fiera protested from behind him, yet he ignored her.

[nagisa.]

Anemos dipped his head, "A Russian's honor. Now lets move!" he hissed. Barley waiting for started into a run, disappearing into the shadows of an alley.

Andrio's eye twitched. He felt like his brain was deteriorating. He forgot his own name.
