Emma winced and cried out in pain. she knew she was going in labor. she called the Ambulance, and she heard sirens. The world faded to black as she was led away into the Labor room almost an hour later. The next time she woke up, was with IV in her arm and to her left was a baby girl. A tear stung her eye, and found its path down her rosy cheek.

Emma smiled. she already knew her name. "Renee," she whispered. The baby turned and breathed. a nurse came in, and looked at the two. she knew that Emma wanted to hold Renee, so the skinny nurse picked Up Renee, and handed the small life form to Emma.
