Jacob frowned and stopped walking. He crossed his arms, "I didn't do anything wrong!"

"I know." Madison said and looked at him, stopping. She sighed.

Jacob sat down on the pavement and didn't look at her.

Madison got on one knee. "Jacob please-" She was cut off as a car came and drove up to them. Madison screamed and grabbed Jacob and ran off quickly. A large man, her father, got out and chased them.

"Mommy! Look! He's chasing us!" Jacob pointed, holding onto his mother tightly.

Zane just stared at her a moment, dumbstruck and unable to think of a response. "Well...that is unexpected. I ain't really the kind of person I'd expect someone to like.."he muttered, scratching his neck a bit. He had never trusted himself really with people..his past and the things he had done made him someone he wouldn't trust with others. He did like Brooklyn, but he didn't want to hurt her..he knew his temper made him so dangerous..

Brooklyn looked down sadly. She stroked Josephs head lightly with her finger.

Madison nodded. "Jacob I'am scared." She whispered as she ran faster.
