Henry danced with Zara, making small talk and occasionally glancing over to Lady Elena and Sadie. He wondered what they were talking about that Sadie was still there. He was kind enough to consider Zara's scare concerning Arthur's loyalty to her, and danced to several songs with her before he parted with her, telling her that he was beginning to become hungry again. he hadn't eaten as much as usual with all of the distractions by other people. He weaved his way to a table and grabbed a roll from a basket. He sat down and began to eat it slowly, wondering why Lady Elena seemed so eager to leave.

"I think, yes, but I do not know. It's a definite most likely, if you know what I mean." Sadie said, hesitating slightly. She was becoming friends with someone who liked the same guy.Typical. "Well, I should be getting back to the stables, I was going to go on a ride with Henry, but I don't think that it's going to happen at this point." Sadie said, crossing her arms and leening on the railing.

(I'm bored. .3. Ella will crash the party. Dance. Thing. ??)

Ella finished her bread, and felt the fullest she's felt in many days. She began to creep down the alley, not wanting to be spotted. She looked up and saw the the castle's flag was being flown at the top of one of the towers. It looked gorgeous, a dab of bright color against the soft overcast sky. She looked down tot he castle's gates, and saw a collection of ladies in brightly colored dresses and fancy hats. She smiled. Perfect. Lots of naive rich people with full pockets, lots of things to steal. She started to trace out a quick plan in the dirt with her finger, crouching down. She didn't know how to write, but she drew little stick figures and arrows instead. She wiped out the plan with her foot, and started to make her way tot eh castle, creeping down dark alleys and darting across the village center. It really wasn't necessary, but good practice for when she really needed to be stealthy.

Elena saidher goodnight and soon made her way through the dancing people to the dorr before she started making her way through the castle corridors.

Ella soon found her way to the gates. They were wide open, and a banner was draped across their tops. It looked like a mess of scribbly black nonsense to her, but she walked underneath. She had a feeling if she was spotted she'd be kicked out, being young and quite scraggly. She darted over to a large rock by the water and crouched behind it, peering over it cautiously. She could hear music drifting through the corridors, and the sounds of people talking and laughing. Curious, she decided she was going in.

Henry watched Lady Elena as she went back down the stairs and soon disappeared into the crowd of dancers. He lost her for a long while until he thought he caught a glimpse of her blond hair at the exit of the dining hall. Perhaps she really was just tired and retiring for the night. That made him feel a little better. At the encouragement, he managed to eat his bread at a more normal pace.

Elena yawned and made her way to her chambers.

A lady began to walk backwards towards Ella's hiding rock, her gown a gorgeous shade of what-gold blowing slightly int he wind. Ella did a weird sort of back-ward crawl, not wanting the lady to fall on her when she tripped. It was a very beautiful dress however, with embroidered desgins that swirled and twisted like streaks of flour in a ball of bread dough being kneaded. Ella's attention was solely focused on the design, picking out the outlines of various flowers. Suddenly, she felt her heel slide out from under her. She waved her arms in the air frantically, but there was no use. She screamed as she fell into the water. Her vision went blurry, and she kicked her legs like a mad-man, watching the bubbles frantically rising as she fought to get to the surface, her besoddened clothes holding her down like chains of steel.

(I really don't care if besoddened isn't a word, I like it. :3)
