Deck couldn't help but venture further into the lunchroom, flanking for the lunch line which was almost completely empty. Taking a tray and placing food on it, he purchased the meal and sat down far off from the juniors. He had only come here during free period because he hadn't eaten at his own lunchtime. And now he was hungry. Glancing up from where he was sitting, he caught the slight movement of Brittany's wave, causing the corners of his lips to hitch up in an adorable half-smile. He jerked his head in greeting to her, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose.

Brittany slightly laughed and walked over to him. "Mind if i sit with you?" She said. She liked being with her cheerleader friends, but she felt so bad for deck.

Deck's smile faded and his eyebrows creased into a frown as soon as he could see Brittany's hips move into action, her legs approaching his table fast. He took a sip of his water, a long sip, and almost coughed on it when she asked if she could sit with him. A junior have the nerve to sit with a senior? When did that happen? "Uh..Sure." He muttered, removing his legs from her side of the table. He could see the sympathy in her eyes and he couldn't help but allow his blood to boil.

Brittany looked at the awkwardness in his face and soon felt weird "So why didn't you eat with the seniors?" Brittany asked taking a bite of her salad. She smiled and looked at him.

Deck lowered his cerulean gaze to her salad, watching her fork lift then lower back to the vegetables. He gave a sigh and a shrug of his shoulders, anxiously looking at Brittany. "I wasn't hungry. As simple as that." He muttered, shrugging again.

Brittany sighed too wanting him to calm down. He was always tense. She looked at him. When she was finished with her food she stood up and threw it away. Then she looked at him. "Hey if you have a phone you can text me." She smiled then handed him a piece of paper with her number on it and he walked away unplugging her phone and walking away. She texted her sister. And then put her phone on silent and walked to art class.

Jackson looked at Rachel and he said, "Yea, I am fine sitting here. Why wouldn't I be?"

A sweet tinkling sound rang through lunchroom, it was Rachel laughing.
"Because some people don't really appreciate people that sit at the geeks table" She pointed at the now brown-stained computer. She glanced at Deck, he was kinda cute but he was a senior and she wasn't popular. She sighed and looked at her little band over nerds. They were all really sweet but she didn't want to date any of them. She just smiled sweetly at Deck and continued eating her lunch
