The quiet sound of pelting rain drops pounded inside his ears. And the longer he listened, the louder it became, growing into a roar of such intense power that he couldn't hear himself try to think. Water continued to crash against him as his lungs seemed to crumpled beneath the weight of the waves. His mouth opened but air did not come, only water poured inside his mind. He let out a silent scream as he fell into the deep blackness around him.
Sawyer shot up in bed, gasping in air as his arms flailed out around him, looking for something, anything. His fingers wrapped around his alarm clock, which flashed back 12:00 in green flickering numbers. The small storm had caused a power outage last night it seemed. No wonder he didn't wake up earlier. He glanced outside as his breathing returned to a more normal rate, although he was still gulping in a few deep breaths here and there. The thunder storm had slowed to a small drizzle of rain. So that was the water that had intruded his dream and shifted it into a nightmare. He placed his clock back on his night stand and shivered, looking around for a watch that would actually tell him the time. When he finally found one he almost jumped ten feet in the air. He was late. Beyond late.
He burst into the hallway and sprinted down to the small bathroom. It took him about two minutes to take a very cold shower. Then a few seconds to shake out his hair. He then pounded back into his bedroom, his brother Travis rolled his eyes at him as he munched loudly on some Cheerios. After digging through piles of clothes Sawyer finally found some things he could wear. A plain grey t-shirt, an acceptable pair of dark skinny jeans, his favorite brown leather jacket, and some black Vans. It would do for today. Without a word to Travis, Sawyer grabbed his keys, slipped on a beanie(as seen in skelly XD) and headed out the door.
(( Sorry it was so short, I was trying to rush it. But the pictures were not cooperating with me
