Summer laughed as Jaime seemed to wake up at exactly the same time. "What a coincidence." She smiled as she propped the guitar up against the coffee table.

[Small Child]

Tommy nodded "very" he said and looked at her "i-is everything ok you just seem a it odd" he said

Jaime smiled as Elmo barked happily and started wriggling around. "He seems excited!" She laughed.

Kat smiled and nodded. "I'm always odd, Tommy."

Evander grinned. "So he should be!" he cried. "You'll love the yard Elmo, it's freakin' huge."

[magpie~]

"He'll get lost." Jaime giggled as she rested her head on Evander's shoulder. "We'll never see him again."

[Small Child]

"Hmm..." he pretended to think. "Perhaps I should let Thomas out in there then."

[magpie~]

"Don't be mean." Jaime giggled. "Kat would just send Skittles out to find him"

[Small Child]

"That dog's a spaz, it would just start looking for Alice in Wonderland, or something."

[magpie~]

Jaime laughed slightly. "You're so nice." she smiled and looked up at him. "Though I'm sure Kat would probably kill you if she heard you saying that."

[Small Child]

He grinned. "No, I jiggle my keys, and she'd be distracted by the tinkling of the shiny," he smiled, and pulled her closer, pressing his lips on hers. "Never mind that now. Let's go sit on the couch and relax for a while," he offered.

Jaime smiled against his lips. "Okay." she murmured before pulling away. She took his hand and pulled him over to the couch.

[Small Child]

Resting against the cushions, he glanced side-long at her. He then smiled, and turned to kiss her cheek, below her ear. He took her hand, and squeezed it, a reasurrance, or something along those lines.
"It's not fair, you know?" he whispered against her neck, opening his eyes, the lashes brushing her skin. "we are together like that one time and now we can't for over nine months. It isn't fair," he repeated, kissing her again.
