Jek looked around uncomfortably. She did not like fancy houses, even if she was living there. They made her feel small and insagnifigant(bad day for spelling). She sighed, edging back a few steps, as if she was regreting the choice to come here. Then the feeling or something inside her womb reminded her why she was here. She stepped closer to Daniel, as if being near him would give her strength and confidence. The place was huge, a mansion even, but it was home. For now at least. Her hand uncontiously strayed to her stomach, touching the barely discernable bulge above her waist. It had taken her parents a while to figure out why she was gaining weight, but when the bump grew in, there was no hiding it. And so she had ended up here, with a few unpleasant pages of her life between then and now.
