Signature Size

I know there's a text limit, or was the last time I messed with it, but I was wondering if a size limit could be added? I like being able to see signatures but some are just gigantic and take up half of the topic. It's distracting, messy, and unnecessary, IMO.

There is a size limit to signatures, actually. (limit for images is 450 x 600/700)
It truly is ridiculously large, but I think suddenly cutting back the size limit would upset a lot of people. ^^;

Turn signatures off, that is what I did. No more giant sigs that block half of the topic.

Is it possible to make signatures scroll? Or perhaps a board setting where we can choose the size we'd see, max the same as the sig max?

As I said, I like being able to see (some) signatures, so I'd prefer a better solution, though I appreciate the board offers this.
