How do I upload a picture from my computer to CS?

Hey guys, i was wondering, i wanted to use a screenshot of my trade rules and just do the [img]link%20here[/img] thing to give me more characters to work with, but to my knowledge there isn't a way to upload a picture directly from my computer to the trade settings, there has to be a link. so i tried uploading the screenshot to DA at this link:http://wyndwrks.deviantart.com/#/d4jf71z (my friend did it for me), but it still doesn't work, it just shows a little box like it messed up or something. like my avatar, except transparent and without the words and little 'x' in the top corner. does that make sense? O.o Hope someone can help!

You copied the link to the picture on deviantart not the actual Image.

Right click on the image in order to get the URL. It should give you an option to either "Copy image location/address/url" or if those aren't there, go to image properties and get the url from there. Then put [img*] and [/img]-tags around it, without the asterisk.
Also, I'd recommend you use http://www.tinypic.com or http://www.photobucket.com for uploading images, they are image hosting sites that give you the code you need to post the image on forums. :]
