This isn't logical. They need money to keep the site going. If they won't let their kid buy CS$, then that's the mom's choice. Others who buy the CS$ would disagree a lot. Also, no income=No CS, I think. That's what I've heard.

If you knew that, why make the topic? I'm confused now... Also, this type of topic usually gets locked. I think.

Purchasing chickendollars does keep the website open. You dont need chicken dollars to get very rares. There are plenty of other rares out there, and you can trade for pets/store things. So it doesnt matter if you're able to purchase it or not, in my opnion. But i perfer it, I cant buy it, but I still manage to trade.

The majority of users have no problems playing without ever paying money to CS - it's not the only way to get rare pets.

If you can't afford or don't wish to spend any money on the site, you can usually find people to trade with for store pets/items anyway.

The store things are totally optional, and if you don't agree with it then no-one is making you pay anything.

All websites and games take a lot of time, money, and effort to put together and keep running. The paying members are simply giving something back to CS. Playing for free here is a privilege, and I'm sorry if you feel like you're missing out, but you are already getting an awful lot from us for free without giving us anything in return.

I'd also like to add... there are WORSE games out there that are literally ripping chunks in peoples wallets for practically NO benefits. I'm not pointing fingers but you can pretty much guess. Have you looked at the price of C$? It's so incredibly cheap by comparison. I'm not goading anyone into buying them but seriously? Even if you don't they are readilly available to trade from any user who has them or the purchased C$ items.

And, most very rare pets as you put them.. well if you take into consideration how they got rare? Most of them grew rare over years. That means people spent years on site working and collecting these pets. Of course older pets are hard to get hold of, there are not as many available as new pets because there was -less- people back then to adopt than there are now (not accounting for the fact some of these are re-released every year so far which makes them LESS rare). And the new rares.. well they are not that hard to get a hold of, just like the old, if you put in the time and effort into 'trading up' .Paperclipping has been a recent phenomenon and is proving successful for lots of users. If others can trade up well enough, without C$, I don't see why others who cannot purchase C$ can't.

And lastly, Totoro is a bird. I doubt she can help with this issue.
