Can't Adopt from Advent Calendar

I created my account 3 days ago. I adopted a few pets and i adopted 2 of them from the Advent Calendar, one pink rat and one black and with puppy. For more than 48 hours, i have this message when I try to adopt a pet from the Calendar:

Error adopting pet
That adoptable could not be found, please go back and try again.

And for one day now, i can't see the gift box when i give the name to the pet.

Is this a bug or is it something i did wrong?

You have a cache error.

What's happening is, your browser is displaying the pet that was available two days ago. Hit F5 at the advent page to fix.

Either the above, or you're still trying to use the original link. Make sure you are clicking on the Advent Calendar button in the sidebar and not just going back through your history.
