New Rarity (suggestion)

(I'm not sure where this goes, so please move if I got it wrong)

I've been thinking for a long time now that it would be more convenient for trades to include a
new rarity step between uncommon and rare.
I thought it would look something like this:

very common < common < uncommon < very uncommon < rare < very rare < omg so rare

I thought it would be useful since there're large gaps of worth between uncommons
which lead to unfair trades.
For example there are those uncommons that are the rarest of their litter and bound to go rare
soon (see the black butterflywolf from January '11 who's gone rare only recently) and there are
uncommons of which some people got a hoard of 100 pets of (see my numerous hoards) and which
can still be found easily in people's trade groups.
You guys got any opinion on this?

new rarities aren't going to be added anytime soon

That's different because I wasn't suggesting a rarity between vr and omgsr
but between uc and r, but if it's a given that new rarities won't be added ...
I guess it's just kinda sad because it makes trading harder for newer members.

it's a helpful idea, but i think that it's not really necessary. People do realise the difference between '09 uncommons and '11 ones. And just like Ocelot at Soul said, these rarities are calculated by number, yet their value is by demand.

I don't mean the difference between years, but like when two outcomes of one litter from the same month
both were uncommon at first but one was harder to get, not due to demand but due to the number released.
Somebody who wasn't around at the time the pets were released wouldn't know that. I've seen quite a few
people swap same-litter uncommons and a few months later one of them went rare.

The reason Vampicorn said it is because of an answer on a previous thread asking for more rarity tags. They are are right. There won't be any new rarities for awhile.
