Disappearing Private Messages...?

Err, so the other day my friend told me she'd PMed me something. I waited and watched my PM box, but no message came. I told her, and she said she'd resend the message. I soon got the message.

And now today, I sent a Pm to someone else concerning the Secret Santa I'm holding. I am sure that I actually sent the message, didn't just press Preview or sumthin. Afterwards, realizing I'd screwed up and accidentally sent them the wrong info, I PMed them again, explaining that I'd screwed up. They told me they hadn't received a message.

So, what the flip happened to those PMs?

Get the sender to check their outbox and sent messages folder. If they aren't in there, they were never sent.
