Avatar Help With Sizing Issues

Postby L2021 » Fri Sep 02, 2011 12:22 pm

I made my current avatar using powerpoint and saving that final product as an image. I kept trying to upload the picture as my avatar, but it said that it had way too many pixels than what is allowed, so I kept going back to powerpoint and resizing my picture and then saving it again as a new picture. I was finally able to upload it when it was 0.5 by 0.5, but it had lost all the detail and blending on the stripes. I was like "whatever", but then I realized that people still have bigger avatars than me with even more detail and with what looks like more than 100 x 100 pixels. How do I get my avatar bigger while "hopefully" being able to keep all the detail? Thank you in advanced!

Is also great
And would suffice.

I'm not entirly sure about powerpoint. Maybe try using an online photo editor to re-size it? Otherwise I can't help you.

Do you think photoshop elements would work??

Yes, Photoshop Elements would work for resizing.

Also, no one is allowed an avatar any bigger than 100 x 100 pixels. So if you're seeing one that looks bigger than that it's probably just your eyes playing tricks on you, lol. ;)
