Please Help! Oekaki!

I have a question... And need help, ASAP. It's about the OEKAKI. Well, I'm not very good at explaining but how do you (when adding colour) make the line stand out OVER the colour? Please help! ASAP!

Are you using layers? If you are, do the lines on one layer, and color on another layer. Then, drag the color layer under the lines layer.

Put the layer that has the lines over the color.

And a bit of advice;
The first layer Oekaki has when you first open it is filled with white. Either erase everything on that layer or just make a new layer and delete the first one. First, make lines on that layer. Then, make second layer and drag it below the lines-layer - now when you colour, it won't go over the lines! The bad thing is you have to be bit careful to not go out of the lines. ^^;
And ohh, here's a picture to help you in case you don't know how to add layers:

Just click on the "+" (which I've circled with red lol) to make new layers. :>

Hmm... Are your layers checkered with white and gray? That's how transparency is shown, and you need to have transparent layers in order for this colouring method to work. ouo;;
