how do I post sketches on the oekaki?

so I made a couple of drawings on paper (sketches i guess you'd call them) and i would like to post them in the Oekaki. i have them uploaded on PhotoBucket.

two questions:
(1) am I allwed to post paper drawings?
(2) how do I post my sketches? do I need a codes? and if so then where would I put it?

You cannot upload anything into the Oekaki. You have to draw them in the Oekaki itself for them to be there.

Since they are on Photobucket, you can make your own thread in the Share your Art forum and show it off there.

You could always pratice using the sketches and experiment board if you want to take on the actual oekaki, and not hand-drawn images.

ANOTHER QUESTION!!

how do I change the brush type/size/ect in the oekaki?

and... I had another question but i forgot heh... oh well. I'll think of it later

to change brush size, you use the left and right bracket keys ([]).
to change tool, there should be a tool palette to the left.
opacity is done on the brushes menu, which is on the right.

ok I figured out how to change brush size. how do you know what tools do what? i scrolled over them and they don't say anything

the icons should be self explanitory...


one: the rectangular select tool. select something with it and you can move it!
two: the pan tool. you can move around on the canvas if you're zoomed in.
three: the bucket. you fill in large areas. i don't use it.
four: the rotate tool. rotates your canvas.
five: the pencil. does pixely lines.
six: the pen. does nice looking lines.
seven: the airbrush. does soft looking things.
eight: the watercolor brush. does watercolory things.
nine: the hard edge eraser.
ten: the soft edge eraser.
eleven: the smudge tool. smudges stuff.
twelve: the blender. blends stuff.
thirteen: dodge. makes stuff lighter. i don't use it.
fourteen: burn. makes stuff darker. i don't use it.
fifteen: blur. makes stuff blurry.
sixteen: the eyedropper. selects a color on your canvas for easy use.
