Is there a way to turn Oekaki off?

When you browse the forum, there is a bar in the middle that displays the Recent drawings from the Oekaki forums. I have searched in the options to turn off that bar, because it annoys me personally, but have not found yet a box that says something similar "display the Recent drawings from the Oekaki in the forum" or such. Is there a way to turn it off? If there is no way at the moment, can something like that be coded if it would not be to a big hassle?

Not that I know of. It may seem annoying but you just have you live with it.

Sorry, that feature will not be added. It's possible to hide it if you're using Firefox and you install some extensions, however.
