Copy-Pasting in Oekaki's

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to copy and paste an object from a drawing to the same drawing. I know I can't copy an image from outside the drawing, but can I copy from inside?
For example: I start a new drawing and draw a cube. However, I want to have two of the same-looking cubes in this drawing, so I want to be able to copy the cube I just drew, and paste it, if possible, as a new layer. Am I able to do that?

If I'm not, that's cool; I'll figure something out.

press control+shift+d on the layer the cube is on (if it is the only thing on that layer) and it will duplicate
if it isn't the only thing o that layer, use the select tool then cop and paste
