help with java download and oekaki

hi my needed help is that i don't have java. i dont have java so i cant use the oekaki. now i no theres a link but i get this warning thing...it said to avoid files with exe and the java download had exe is it's link.so i just need to no if anyone has downloaded it and if its safe...help please as soon as possible..thank you

I have a really slow computer, and Java works fine with it. No viruses, and the Oekaki is worth the download. c:

The official Java install site is http://www.java.com/ . It doesn't have any viruses in it.
