Penguin Dogs...?

I am sure these were made for something? To celebrate a day or something? But it's still in the Dogs Page on the Wish-List. Can anybody tell me what day these were made specially for?

I'm not 100% sure, but I searched Penguin Awareness Day, and that is January 20th. That's around the time the dogs were released. http://www.holidayinsights.com/other/penguinawareness.htm
