Help with oekaki please? RESOLVED, PLEASE LOCK!

Hi, I love drawing oekaki, but everytime i try to color something, it goes over the outline and erases it completely. Is there a way to prevent this? Thank you for your time!

add a new layer under the layer with the lines ^^

I tried it, it makes no difference...?? I added a layer and I marked the second layer, and it wouldnt let me paint at all.

make sure the dots by the layers are black, that might be the problem too :3

The dots in all the layers or just one?

all of them. if the dot isnt filled, that means you "took off" the layer.

Is the layer that you're coloring on under the layer with the lines?

No, layer 1 is at the bottom, and layer 2 is on top of layer 1.
