Why wait to post?

Postby meggy78 » Mon Aug 08, 2011 1:25 pm

why do we try to quick reply and when we try tto post it it asks if we want to rephrase because a new post has been made? Can't we just post it? I RP and i sometimes have to submit like..8 times 'til I can get my post in the thread.
Looking for new roleplays. Preferably one-on-one over messages.:)

I like how it works now. I have RP'd and that has happened, but it helped me revise my post to fit in better. Maybe if it was optional to turn off?

It gives you a chance to revise what you wrote to make your input more relevant. I think it's ideal for discussion and debate threads, where making a valid point depends on knowing what other people are saying. It can be bothersome, but it gives a good opportunity to improve your post based on others' posts.

For instance, there was a thread and someone asked
What is 2+2?
You wrote 4, but somebody posted 4 before you. You then do not post, and that saves alot of room on the website.
