Store pets dropping and rising rarities

Hey,I'm just asking why store pets are very rare when you buy them,but then a month or so after,they drop to a rae. It is a bit annoying and is cheating people off their money. This is one of the very rare pets I bought. Now,it's just a rare.[/url]

Rarities are measured on how many people have them. Rarities of the Store pets change because they are 2 months available, and thus go through 2 rarity updates. People are not cheated out of their money, they pay for the art of the pet, not the rarity. The more people the store pets have, the commoner it gets.

Rarity is calculated as a quote between how many pets there are of a certain kind and how many accounts there are in total. At the beginning of theh month very few has bought the new store pets yet, later on more people have bought them and thusly they are more common. After a while, when they aren't aviable to buy anymore they will slowly climb up in value (just like any other pet does) because more people make accounts on CS.

So really, store pets doesn't rise or sink in value in another way than any other pet, it's just more visible since they are rare from the start^^. CS isn't cheating people out of their money, all pets have moving values and noone has promised that any pet would stay rare or VR anyway.
