Do trade offers expire after a certain duration?

I can not find info regarding this. Will the trade offer expire after a certain time? Or will it stay up indefinitely until either the trade cannot be fulfilled or is canceled? Thanks for the help :)

The trade stays up until the trade it is fulfilled or canceled.

No, they don't expire.
When I left in early 2009 I came back in Jan 2011 and had trades from 2009 and 2010 from people ignoring the fact that I wasn't there lol.
