Is the faire all over already?

I just got my maps a little while ago - went back to the forest to claim my lions and the option isn't there anymore =(
*crosses fingers and hopes it's not completely over just yet...*

This stinks so much.... I worked really hard to gather those last logs of wood. It's REALLY going to stink if I'm stuck with these useless maps now, just because I couldn't trade for them /before/ the last thirty minutes ran out.... agh ;-;

EDIT: Well great. Looks like this really was the end of it, and I traded for all that wood thirty minutes or so too late. I'm going to go log off and try to smother my disappointment in ice cream or something. I really wish we would have had a set /time/ for when the faire was going to end, so I would've seen that it was too late and wouldn't be out on everything I traded to get these maps -.-

Yeah, the Faire is now over. My sisters and I were racing to adopt the very last pets that we could! XD Quick, frenzied trading between ourselves to give each other the last few items that we needed, and we went to the very last second! XD It was insane; there was a lot of screaming and yelling and, "COME ON, YOU FREAKIN' COMPUTER! LOAD FASTER!!!" XD Ahaha. My other sister just recently started playing again (speaking of which, I need to go talk to a staff member about that XD), and so she really wanted to get into the spirit of things! ^.^; And, yeah, she got into the spirit of things. :3

CS switches to a new day at the International Date Line or whatever that's called (but I think that's it? Lol, not sure! ^.^;), in Greenwich, I'm fairly sure. :3

On the news page, there was a notice saying the faire was ending today (5th August 2011). The CS clock is (in England) reset for the next day at 1am, until the clocks go back, where it resets at midnight, though it may be different for other countries?

Anyway, I have 2 or 3 leftover faire tokens for the ring toss, and because I'm pretty obsessive compulsive and feel uncomfortable when things aren't in order, I'm hating the fact that I only realised I needed to get rid of them a minute before 1am, to which my internet decided to slow down. Lord help me, they're so out of place. @.@

Either way, I'm sure you'll be able to trade for the lions somewhere, but in my opinion, yes, they should have had a system so you can still turn in tokens for an extra day or something.

Yeah, I did that at Easter. XD I still have a whole bunch of Easter tokens! ^.^; Maybe I'll use them to dress up my pets, someday. :3
