Where's the Pound's countdown system? (e.g. half a day, in 3 hours, etc)

I'm having literal nightmares that I missed the Pound like last time, and the time before that...

The pound doesn't have a countdown unless it's going to open within the amount of time the countdown says.

And it's okay if you miss the pound, because it will always open again. The valuable pets--if that's ehat you don't want to miss--are given out sparingly per pound opening, so there will always be enough. There is no need to be anxious about it... If you're having nightmares about it, you should try to relax

Also, if you have missed the pound in the last few days, it will say something like "The pound closed three days ago!" or "you just missed it! The pound closed a few minutes ago" and stuff like that. I think it stops displaying that message after it has been four days after the pound last opened. So just check the pound at least once every couple days and you will know of it has recently been open. I hope that helps your nightmares end. ;3

Three days? I've only ever seen it say the last two days, which I think means "yesterday."

It will be on the Pound page. If you click the 'Pound' board above on the navigation banner [where it lists my pets, adopt, store, etc], and if the Pound is close to opening it will be listed on that page. You can't miss if it is there. ;3

edit; And like the others are saying, it will only show a time counter if it will open soon, or has closed recently. c:

I've noticed that the pound tends to open a lot less during events. ^-^
