How do you choose gender...?

Hi! Uh...... so yeah, i'm new, and i dont see anything to change/choose the gender of your pets, but it says you can. how do you?

The pets don't have assigned genders, so you can decide for yourself, but there's no way to mark it on the pet's page unless you include the gender in the pet's name.

And to get the male and female symbols to put in their names, you can go to your character map.
If you're on windows, you get there by going to Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map. Scroll down a bit and you'll eventually get to a row with all sorts of little things, like hearts and arrows, and of course ♀ and ♂.

If you ever want others for whatever reason, wikipedia has a [page on that] where you can copy them from. That can also be useful if you can't get to the map. And if you're on a Mac computer, well... I honestly don't know. ^^; Sorry.

Mac is along the top tool bar. I forget exactly which main category, but there is a button that says special characters in the menu when you find the right one. Click on that, then scroll and click around until you find what you want.

Also, if I remember right, this is on Nick's to-do list (must be long, he's taking a while), so the gender option is coming soon (I hope)!
