Re-Releases

Not entirely sure if this has been answered already or belong here or whatever, but there's no harm in trying. >.<

I know what a re-release is. It's... Well... A Re-release of an older pet. But how do you get them? While browsing through my pets I realised I have a couple (though, not a '08 July or anything. sigh. T~T) but I just don't remember how I actually got them, as it was christmas when I got them, obviousley.

How do you get re-released pets? Do they appear often? Thanks! :3

On December 18th during the Advent calender, you can adopt 2 pets from the past. That's if it's a re-release, it will always be dated on December 18th.
