It could have been accidental.
"Hacked" means forced entry, staying logged on, or stalking you password would actually be called cracking. (Sorry small thing that bugs me XD nothing to see here)

You were given the lion as a gift from another player, you accepted the trade from your usual location. If anything unusual has happened on your account, it's probably a friend or family member who has (accidentally?) used your account if you left it logged in
