No it's blank... But every time I go to update Java, the only way it says to do it is by updating my computer and restarting it, and I've done that already. :/
Every one of those options eventually brings me back to the page where it tells me to update my computer... I could be doing something wrong, but I just have no idea.

Go to your applications folder [under "places" in Finder] then search Java. Click Java Preferences and see if your settings are like mine. If they are, then I'll keep looking around my Mac to see if there may be anything that may be "unchecked" on your Mac. Another problem may be that your Mac hasn't opening it because it's and "application downloaded from the internet."
I'm not entirely positive. The icon with the red splash calibrates your application, or so I believe. Click that, and if it comes up with what I told you, click "open." If it does without saying that, it's not the problem I thought it was and I'm not sure what to do after this :/
I'm not quite sure what you mean. When I click on the red splash looking Java icon it just opens. The first time I opened it it calibrated but nothing changed.
