Transparent gifs?

I want to make a gif, but I can't figure out how to make it transparent.
I'm using Photoscape, so if anyone know how to make transparent gifs with it, I will be happy.
Alternatively, a link to a site that makes transparent gifs is also good. :3

I'm not sure about that particular editor.
If it's not animated, you might look into saving it as a PNG file. Generally they are a little larger in filesize, support transparency, but have no artifacts (like when your saved GIF/JPEG file looks terrible compared to the one you made).

I'm talking about animated gifs, actually. x3 And I don't believe you can save images as animated PNGs in Photoscape, even though I'm pretty sure they exist.
