Trade help?

Hi so I’m struggling lately to get even a decline or any type of response to a trade request when I send it, and it’s just making me feel like I’m off putting? I would just like some advice about how I could improve my profile like editing my trade rules? Or writing my messages certain ways? Thank you for your time!!!!

im usually not one to respond to trades, its not cause anyones off putting or anything i just dont wanna talk tbh and not in a mean way, i see some people as well have social anxiety so they dont respond to things cause of that as well

aw i don't think it's anything you're doing : ( more often than not, even when i send people simple trades 2 seconds after they bumped their trade post, it takes hours to days for me to get a response. on top of that i have to clear several rotted trades a week (and lots of the time the people in question are still bumping their post all day every day)! some people dont have the time to respond to trades same-day or within a couple days, some people just don't seem to care.

i am always as polite and communicative as i can be but these things don't change. unfortunately i think you just need to take it as a given that you'll run into this issue. what ive started doing is just sending out trades without caring about pets being tradelocked (unless im waiting on an important offer). if one gets accepted and 5 are canceled with it, then so be it. they were likely going to forget or cancel anyway so i need to keep moving : )

Don't take it personal. As for me, seems it's not 100% polite to send something without any message, but a lot of people don't want to be mean, just...act in their own manner. Come to trade with me sometime, I'll sent you a message for sure)

Sometimes people are overwhelmed with things in their personal life, and other times they may be thinking about your trade and/or you may have asked for pets that they have in another trade and they are trying to wait on that first (something which has happened to me with a recent trade... I should probably message that person). As the people above have said, it likely does not have anything to do with you. If someone was put off by you, your trade rules, or your message in any way, I think it's more likely that they would cancel your trade rather than let it sit.
