Just wondering, what makes a pet's rarity change? It's like, my rare pet is now a very rare. And some of my friend's pets turned rare and they were uncommon. Why is that? Sorry if I sound like a n00b <_< Thanks ^^

Pets get rarer as time passes.

Say you get a pet in January and its rarity is common. In February no more of that pet can be adopted. In addition, 100,000 new users join the site. This means 100,000 people that don't have the January pet. Same thing in March, the population adds another 100,000 to the site. That's 200,000 people that hypothetically don't have the January pet. In March, the pet's rarity is considered uncommon.

The rarity is determined by the amount of one outcome to the amount of players. When a pet isn't available for adoption anymore and more members join as time goes on the rarer the outcome becomes.
