Fake Quotes [another dumb question of mine]

so what would happen to someone if they faked a quote?

obviously tess never said that, but what if someone faked a quote like that with some uh... bad stuff or fake stuff??

Its pretty easy to search the forum and see if a person actually say a post saying something like that, and if a quote included anything inappropriate or a fake quote were created just to stir up drama, would just be removed for breaking the site rules. Additionally, its pretty common practice to link to where you got a quote if you are quoting it somewhere other than the thread it was originally said in so its not taken out of context.
