Can I remake a “CS pet unique lineart guide”?

I’m not sure if this even needs to be a question, but I wanted to make an updated version of this thread on the “chicken smoothie discussion” forum: CS Pet Unique Lineart Guide
I know there’s a rule about no repeat topics, but the original owner isn’t updating it anymore. So if I wanted to make a new version, how would I go about asking for permission? Or would I just not be able to because the topic already exists? I don’t know, I made an update post on the that topic but I just thought it would be nice to make a whole new updated guide. My post so people don’t think I came up with this randomly, I already did this big update post.

Have you tried privately messaging them and asking to take it over? That's what I did with the OMGSR, UR, and old store pet count threads. Mods/admins had no issue with me requesting the old posts to be locked and creating my own. :)

Thank you for the tip! I just had no idea what to do. I’ll try to message them, it looks like they still check into the site. So I’ll ask them.
