COPPA'd Users question:

I was just wondering, can COPPA'd users see the regular forums and just can't post or can they only see their COPPA forum?
Because when I get bad trades from them, sometimes I'll cancel with a link to the Rares List Guide thread or some of the other "how much is this ... worth" threads so they can get an idea of the values of pets. But it won't do them any good if they can't read through it. :what:

They can see the regular forums. ^-^ I know some COPPA'd users and they always complain about how they can't post on certain things and find it unfair. o-o

A COPPA user is an American user who is under the age of 13. They cannot send messages or post in forums. I think America has internet laws preventing it's users under 13 from posting information about themselves (Like where they live, phone number, etc.).

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
Basically ensures that american childrens under age of 13 can´t post anything, for their own safety, except that here on Chicken Smoothie COPPA users can post oekakis. :3

They can see all of the forum except the adults chat board, and the human RP board

however, they can't see PMs, so make sure to send any links or messages in a trade message and not in a PM

Any particular reason why they cannot see the human roleplay board? I can understand the adult chat.

because despite our best efforts and strict rules, people continually take the romance scenes too far and the posts would be visible until a moderator comes along to knock them out
