Also, I think my sister kinda just tried to commit suicide, so talking to dad wouldn't be easy. And FSS would block it. Oh, and worms cannot get into my computer. All things are blocked from entering. You need to say SPECIFICALLY that you want to let it in. Ordinary viruses are usually tracked before one can say...i dunno. I never download stuff, so Trojans can't really get in. My computer is secure enough WITHOUT antivirus software. I never trust that stuff anyway, after what happened with that thing for vista.....

*pant pant* I run out of energy just typing this.

You can get viruses from just opening an email. Viruses, like worms, get in through any means necessary and will destroy your computer, almost completely without you noticing.

No virus scanner can completely stop viruses. New ones come along every day, with more potential to do harm, and the virus scanners have to get updates from the programmers who work hard every day to try and combat new viruses. Which is extremely difficult, and some will always manage to slip through. No PC is safe when its connected to the internet. You need to format your hard drive or get a proper virus scanner, but i suggest formatting, or taking it to a Technician. Go down to the PC store and pay for one to ensure as much protection as you can.

Maby when things calm down around my house, I can get my dad to sign up and we'll see what he has to say. The most dangerous viruses cannot get through because we have a computer that is just fine with only an operating system, a web browser, some art/office programs, and some flash. It really can't get dammaged. Seriously, people have tried. It'll take a LOT to infect THIS computer.

@Chry I don't even read emails that I wasn't expecting.

if you have a way to access the internet, then you have a way to get viruses. A virus isn't going to choose to only infect computers which have a lot of stuff on them, it will infect whatever it gets access to.

If you think your computer is already well-protected then great, no viruses for you. However as I said before, CS has no viruses and will not send you any, so if you're getting redirected to that virus page while visiting CS (and not simultaneously viewing any other websites) then your computer must already be infected with something which is causing it to do that. CS is not doing that.

our ads are supplied by Google, Google would not support an advertiser that was trying to give viruses to Google's clients

Do you realize how easy it is to get right past that? Do you? Huh?

CS didn't give you a virus.

And Google spends billion's of dollars on their software and site.

Yeah, CS didn't do it, but an ad DID. You know, all they have to do is get Google to trust them, then send an ad that gives you a virus. I figured that out a few years ago. And I was a little kid!

It is possible. But that is like saying that a single lawn in a neighborhood will become brown and die. Possible but VERY unlikely. Some viruses will say they are from a place that they aren't.

Google isn't stupid, you know. c: I'm pretty sure that they would at least check over a website that wanted to affiliate with them.

This is only leading into an argument. You will never get a virus from ChickenSmoothie, and if you get one elsewhere, it is not CS's fault. ^^
