Windows Explorer has stopped working?

For some reason my laptop won't let me access the control panel because everytime I try it just says

Windows Explorer has stopped working

I have an essay due for tomorrow and I need to know why this is happening x3

I think this something you should be asking Microsoft instead of CS.
You could also try a Google Search of the what's happening. Not surprisingly, quite a few people have experienced your problem.

Check your lAp top if you have any switches, I know my enternet was saying the sAme thing but I found out it was because of a switch that I accordingly hit.
