GIMP Help really needed!

I am having trouble with layers in the toolbox. When I open up GIMP, it doesn't show the layers where they are supposed to be. Not anything expect the brushes, tools, etc. It says "you can drop dockable dialogs here". I think I pressed something wrong and It made them disappear, but I don't know what. Please help D:
