If she is COPPA, you are not allowed to merge accounts unless she sends in the form. Or, she would have to COPPA your account as well to prevent her from posting.

And yes, you'd either have to sacrifice posting rights or let her send in a form..
And if you're family, there's no point. You're in the same house, just keep both accounts. Merging means less pets.. why all the hassle ?
