Contest holding questions

Hello
I was thinking about holding a contest for naming one of my characters
I've seen it done on here before but I'm not sure what thread I should post it on
The free pets and adoption one? Or a different one?

This kind of contest (assuming the prize is CS pets/items) would fit best into the Free Adoptions forum, since it is a very simple entry requirement that does not require a lot of effort.

As for your other question, there really isn't a required list of things you need to set up a contest like this. As long as you make the entry requirement, prizes and end date clear, as well as following the forum and general CS rules, it should be ok.
If you'd like some rules to think about implementing though, consider some things:
- How many names can a user submit? Do you want a limit or can a user submit unlimited names?
- Do you want users to follow a specific form that you make, or is just posting a name suggestion enough to count as an entry?
