Hello! Simple question really, a bit hard to explain, one that I don't want to risk testing right now. If you trade a pet, does it automatically change the status in the archives as not being owned? Do you have to have an inventory of pets for it to register in the archive as me owning it?

yes, as far as i know you must currently have the pet in your collection for it to appear as owned in your archive.

Yes, for the archive to mark a pet or item as owned, you must currently have it in your inventory.
